State Sen. President Stanley Rosenberg on board with using marijuana taxes for addiction treatment – Boston Business Journal

Voters repealed a sales tax on alcohol in 2010, cutting $160 million a year earmarked for substance abuse treatment programs. State Senate President Stanley Rosenberg says that with the prospect of new revenue from legalized recreational marijuana starting next year, there’s an opportunity to replace that.
