State rejects proposed Charlton pot cultivator’s application, Valley Green Grow plans to move forward

CHARLTON — An application to develop what could be the largest marijuana grow and processing facility in the country has been rejected and deemed expired by the state Department of Public Health, the agency that licenses medical marijuana facilities.Valley Green Grow Inc. is seeking local and state approvals to develop a 1.2 million square foot, multi-tenant, marijuana cultivation, manufacturing and processing operation on a 94-acre farm bordering a residential neighborhood.
