Years after residents voted to legalize recreational marijuana, state regulators have approved retail sales for more than 20 license holders from Pittsfield to Brookline.Since the openings of Cultivate in Leicester and New England Treatment Access in Northampton in November, dozens of adult-use cannabis stores have popped up across the state. The initial fanfare has died down in some parts, though the recent launch of recreational sales in Brookline saw more than 2,000 customers in one day.
